Department of Transport and Main Roads QLD in Mackay is seeking a Construction Worker (Supervisor) to oversee civil infrastructure projects across all phases, ensuring delivery meets client and business objectives. You will lead the project team and liaise with customers, stakeholders and the project team to achieve outcomes.

You will supervise resources, implement change initiatives, maintain records and support the Civil Trades Development Program while promoting safety and performance.

Formación

• Pre-employment medical is part of the selection process.
• You may be required to travel to other locations; travel expenses and allowances provided.
• Possession of a current Queensland C class driver's licence or equivalent.
• Certificate III in Civil Construction with core Leadership and Management competencies, or ability to acquire within 36 months.
• RoadTek tradespersons will gain competencies via the Civil Trades Development Program (CTDP).
• TMR Drug and Alcohol Policy applies to all employees, workers and visitors.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the management of projects through all phases of the project cycle.
• Liaise with client, stakeholder and project team to aid in successful delivery.
• Provide support and coaching to team members for skills development and achievement of goals.
• Manage the project team using extensive project experience.
• Maintain daily project records.
• Be innovative and solve problems creatively on site.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure labour, plant and equipment meet delivery demands.
• Implement staff performance systems to monitor and report on site performance.
• Support employees undertaking the Civil Trades Development Program by providing skilling opportunities.
