Job summary

Downer Group is seeking an experienced Foreperson to lead stabilising and cement spreading operations across civil projects in the Perth metropolitan area and regional WA. This hands-on leadership role requires strong operational knowledge of stabilising works, cement spreading, crew management, and plant operation with travel across WA as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in stabilising and cement spreading operations.
• Foreperson/Leading Hand/Supervisory role experience.
• Ability to operate and supervise skid steers, excavators, loaders.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies.
• Current HC or MC licence.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel across Perth and regional WA.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate stabilising and cement spreading crews.
• Operate and oversee stabiliser and cement spreader activities.
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
• Manage site documentation, daily reporting, and work planning.
• Coordinate with subcontractors delivering associated civil works.
• Maintain compliance with company and client safety requirements.
