Skillinvest, hosted by Northern Grampians Shire Council in St Arnaud, offers a 3-year full-time civil construction apprenticeship with practical on-the-job experience and the opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Civil Construction.

You will work with skilled professionals, perform pre-start checks, operate plant, maintain daily records and assist with signage installation, gaining hands-on skills and a nationally recognized qualification.

Qualifications

• White Card (Construction Induction) required.
• Hands-on, physical work.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-start checks on plant and equipment.
• Operate plant and equipment.
• Maintain daily activity sheets and record defects observed.
• Install, repair or replace signs.
