Job summary

Amharc Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Formworker and Concreter for long‑term projects in South East Queensland. You will perform formwork, concreting and steel fixing across bridges, retaining walls and slabs, reading drawings and schedules, and contributing to high‑quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in civil construction, the ability to lead a small crew, and a strong safety mindset. A Driver’s Licence, White Card and relevant certificates are required; training may be

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team of tradespeople.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Proactive approach to tasks and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Carry out formwork, steel fixing and concreting tasks as part of the crew.
• Interpret formwork drawings, reinforcement plans and steel schedules.
• Prepare, box up and set out formwork; operate screeding and trowel machines.
• Support bridging, walls, slabs and vertical concrete works as required.

Formworker & Concreter – South East Queensland

Amharc is looking for an experienced Formworker and Concreter to join our team in South East Queensland. With a steady pipeline of diverse projects, we offer stable, long-term work in a professional and friendly environment.

We are seeking a dedicated individual interested in a long-term role as part of one of our core crews.

About the Role

As a Formworker / Concreter, you will be responsible for a range of concreting tasks, including:

• Bridgeworks, retaining walls, culverts, slab-on-ground (footpaths, v-drains, etc.)
• Reading and interpreting formwork drawings, reinforcement plans, and steel schedules
• Performing all aspects of formwork, steel fixing, and concreting
• Preparing, boxing up, basic formwork, screeding, operating trowel machines, pouring, and occasional vertical concrete works

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the civil construction industry
• Ability to work independently and lead a team of tradespeople
• Strong commitment to safety and quality work
• A reliable and proactive approach

Essential Requirements

• Valid Driver’s Licence
• White Card
• Certificate III in Concreting or Carpentry (or relevant experience)
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
