Job summary

Workforce Extensions is seeking an experienced Concreter / Formworker to join its civil construction team delivering projects across the Hawkesbury region. Immediate start, consistent full-time hours, and overtime available with potential for permanent employment.

You will handle concrete prep, pouring, finishing, basic formwork, steel fixing and general labour, contributing to footpaths, driveways and kerbs while keeping a safe, productive site and a strong team focus.

Qualifications

• Concreting and civil construction experience required.
• Construction White Card required.
• Full PPE provided by employer.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, pour and finish concrete.
• Perform basic formwork with edge boards.
• Screed and finish concrete surfaces.
• Assist with steel fixing and civil labour tasks.
• Construct footpaths, driveways and kerbs.
• Maintain safe and productive site.

About the Role

Working across a range of civil construction projects, your duties will include:

• Concrete preparation, setup, pouring and finishing
• Basic formwork using edge boards
• Screeding and finishing concrete surfaces
• Steel fixing and general civil labouring
• Construction of footpaths, driveways and kerbs
• Maintaining a safe and productive worksite

What We're Looking For

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous concreting and/or civil construction experience
• A current Construction White Card
• Full PPE, including long sleeves, long pants, hard hat, hi-vis and steel cap boots
• A strong work ethic and reliable approach to work
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A commitment to workplace health and safety
