Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) seeks a strategic Chief Information Officer to lead technology, cyber security, AI and data management, aligning with government requirements and business priorities. Based in Brisbane, you will drive innovation and governance across TIQ’s digital landscape.

You will advise executives, shape enterprise-wide initiatives and manage risk, ensuring secure, resilient technology that supports Queensland’s global connections and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise-wide technology, cyber security and data management in a complex public sector or regulated environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and executive advisory capabilities.
• Proven ability to drive digital transformation and responsible AI adoption.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level strategic analysis and policy advice to TIQ leadership and board.
• Lead a high-performing IT and digital team with accountability and continuous improvement.
