Job summary

Ticketek Entertainment Group (TEG) seeks a Platform Engineer to lead a CI/CD modernization across ~250 repositories, moving from a legacy monolithic deployment to per-repo pipelines with canary deployments and automated rollbacks. You’ll work with AWS across Lambda, ECS/Fargate, EC2, S3/CloudFront in a 4-region setup.

You’ll drive migration, audit services, design pragmatic pipelines, and collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployments while documenting decisions and evolving

Qualifications

• Deep DevOps & AWS expertise with GitLab CI/CD (multi-stage pipelines, environments, gates, templates, runners)
• AWS CodeDeploy canary/blue-green deployments with automated rollback
• Multi-region orchestration across Lambda, ECS/Fargate, and EC2
• Solid knowledge of IAM cross-account roles, CloudFormation and SSM Parameter Store
• Strong shell scripting and AWS CLI fluency
• AWS CDK (TypeScript or Python) for self-service constructs
• Experience migrating from legacy CI/CD systems (parallel running, flag-based cutover)

Responsibilities

• Build and ship CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI, service by service, with canary deployments and automated rollback
• Migrate services from legacy deployment into per-repo pipelines, validating live production traffic
• Conduct pre-migration audits for each service to identify what to keep, redesign or remove
• Make pragmatic engineering decisions within the Pipeline Construction Standard
• Coordinate production deployment windows with development teams during migrations
• Document decisions, issues and fixes in the repo and contribute to standards
