Job summary

The Complete Basketcase is seeking a Christmas Seasonal Administration and Gift Hamper Retail Assistant in Kensington, Victoria. The role is casual, 30-35 hours per week from November through Christmas, Monday to Friday.

You will handle orders, assemble hampers, and support sales initiatives in a small family-run team. Ideal candidates show enthusiasm, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and with the owner.

Qualifications

• Proven Customer Service Experience.
• Demonstrated office administration experience.
• Confidence to learn new systems quickly.
• Experience with Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service over the phone and via email.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.
• Print and allocate online orders via Shopify.
• Process phone and email orders.
• Make and dispatch gift hampers.
• Email or use suppliers online ordering system under management direction.
• Process invoices through Xero.
• Assist with generating new sales/gift ideas.
• Track and follow up issues with gift deliveries.
• Manage customer expectations.

Christmas Seasonal: Administration and Gift Hamper Retail Assistant -

This is your opportunity to join a wonderful team at The Complete Basketcase for the upcoming Christmas season! We are a family-run gift hamper company located in Kensington, Victoria looking for a motivated, level-headed person to join us in a casual capacity for 30-35 hours per week from November through till X'mas. We are looking for someone to work Monday thru Friday.

We want to meet you if you have these skills:

• Provide excellent customer service over the phone and via email
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders
• Print and allocate online orders via shopify
• Process phone and email orders
• Make and dispatch gift hampers
• Email or Use Suppliers online ordering system to make orders under direction from management
• Process Invoices through Xero
• Assist with generating new sales/gift ideas
• Be responsible for tracking and following up any issues with gift deliveries
• Manage customer expectations

• Close attention to detail to accurately and efficiently complete tasks within set time frames
• Successfully works as part of a team and can also work independently under the direction of the business owner

• Ability to work on your feet for the entire shift and lift more than 5kg
• Demonstrated high levels of enthusiasm, creativity, innovation and flexibility in previous work roles
