Job summary

Zara in Sydney is hiring Christmas Casual Sales Assistants to welcome customers and help them find what they need during our busiest period. You'll connect with shoppers, learn product trends and provide confident recommendations while supporting store teams across fitting rooms, floor, and payments.

This fixed-term casual opportunity runs from mid-October 2026 to mid-February 2027 across Pitt Street, Bondi, Macquarie, Chatswood, Miranda and Parramatta stores.

Qualifications

• Experience in fashion or retail is preferred.
• Strong communication and a customer-focused approach.
• Able to learn product knowledge quickly.

• Build knowledge of product, new arrivals and trends to make confident recommendations.

The Christmas season brings a different energy to the store. We’re looking for people who can help create a considered, welcoming experience for customers while supporting the team through one of our busiest trading periods.

As a Christmas Casual Sales Assistant, you’ll bring energy, curiosity and a customer-focused approach to the store. You’ll connect with customers, help them find what they need and build your product knowledge so you can offer relevant recommendations and alternatives.

You’ll also support the daily rhythm of the store — from fitting rooms and customer areas to replenishment and keeping the floor organized and ready to shop.

We are recruiting for all our stores across Sydney: Pitt Street, Bondi, Macquarie, Chatswood, Miranda & Parramatta.

This is a fixed-term casual opportunity, with contracts expected to commence from mid-October 2026 and conclude in mid-February 2027.
