NT Christian Schools is seeking an Assistant Principal to lead teaching and learning initiatives, guide school operations, and support the Principal in delivering a robust Christian educational program. The role involves coaching staff, shaping school culture, and ensuring governance compliance, with responsibilities across curriculum, timetabling, and student welfare.

Qualifications

• A committed Christian actively involved in your local church.
• Prove an ability to effectively model Christian values as expressed in the Policies and Procedures of NT Christian Schools and to give an authentic witness to those values.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, written and verbal, as a relational, empowering educator; supporting work with students, staff, parents and the broader community.
• Be pastorally committed to creating an environment of care for nurturing students.
• Demonstrate the exemplary educational professional standards with the ability to lead and mentor others.
• A willingness to learn, grow, accept coaching and feedback in pursuing excellence.
• Hold appropriate experience and tertiary qualifications relevant to the position.
• Must hold a valid Working with Children (Ochre) Card
• Must have a valid NT police check within the last 12 months, or invoice of order for one
• Must hold a current NT Teachers Registration

Responsabilités

• Identification, prioritising and implementation of the college Annual Action Plan goals for teaching & learning - Curriculum, Pedagogy & Assessment/Data priorities
• Assist with timetabling, daily running of school, managing staff absences
• Solving complex problems with leadership team
• Supporting & developing communication pathways to staff and parents
• Coaching/mentoring staff
• Source and/or deliver professional learning to staff in conjunction with the Principal and Heads of Primary and Secondary
• Building positive relationships with students, parents/care givers and community
• Contribute and support student welfare and behaviour management, across the College
