Job summary

Centurion underground mine, located 160 kilometres west of Mackay, seeks a CHPP Mechanical Coordinator to oversee mechanical maintenance and engineering projects. Reporting to the CHPP Manager, you will scope, plan, execute and report on work orders to improve plant reliability and safety.

With 3+ years in CHPP environments and a trades or engineering background, you will lead technicians, coordinate contractors during shutdowns, and ensure compliance with safety standards and budgets while

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in CHPP environments.
• Strong knowledge of coal processing and CHPP drivers.
• Trade or engineering background preferred; S1–G2 qualifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate contractors for maintenance days and major shutdowns.
• Scope, schedule, execute and report on work orders to ensure schedules are met.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve plant reliability, availability and compliance.
• Provide leadership and safe behaviours to CHPP Technicians.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and budget for CHPP maintenance.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
