Coulson Aviation Australia is seeking licensed CH47 LAMEs to join our team in Richmond, NSW. The role focuses on daily maintenance, safety and airworthiness of CH47 Chinook assets used in emergency services.

Candidates should have CASA B1 license and CH47 experience, with Australian work rights. We offer a flexible roster, travel/allowance options, and a strong safety culture across a global aerial firefighting fleet.

Qualifications

• CASA B1 Licence required.
• Chinook CH47 experience in line and heavy maintenance.
• 2+ years as LAME in Australia preferred.
• Ability to obtain ASIC Clearance.
• Ability to obtain RAAF Base Access.
• Desirable FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
• No Exclusions on CASA License.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on CH47 Chinook aircraft to ensure airworthiness.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical/electrical issues within qualification scope.
• Supervise unlicensed engineers, apprentices and/or contractors as required.
• Maintain detailed maintenance documentation.
• Support emergency service aircraft operations to ensure responsive missions.

Coulson Aviation Australia is a subsidiary of global aerial firefighting company, Coulson Aviation, and supports Australian States and Emergency Service Organizations with the provision of aircraft and experienced team members. WHAT WE’R LOOKING FOR:

We are currently recruiting qualified & exoereinced CH47 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAME's)to be part of our team. This role is based in Richmond, NSW. LAME's holding an FAA A&P will also be highly regarded.

The chosen candidates will work in a team environment performing maintenance and engineering activities in support of aerial emergency response services. They must have a strong focus on safety and customer service.

The role requires flexibility and working away from home base at short notice and offers competitive salary and an emphasis on work/life balance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform daily, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on customer-owned aircraft ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements

Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical issues as appropriately qualified to ensure aircraft safety and airworthiness of aircraft and role equipment

Supervising unlicensed engineers, apprentices and/or contractors as and when required

Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance documentation of all work performed.

Support operations of emergency service aircraft to ensure effective response to missions

Experience Requirements:

CASA B1 Licence

Chinook CH47 experience in line and heavy maintenance

2 or more years of experience working in Australia as LAME

Ability to obtain ASIC Clearance

Ability to obtain RAAF Base Access

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

CH47 Maintenance experience

FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License

No Exclusions on CASA License
