Coulson Aviation Australia – Bankstown NSW is seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated Aircrew Officers to join our Bell 412 operations in New South Wales, Australia. You will operate in a team environment supporting aerial firefighting, flood response, and related missions for emergency services, with strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Right to live and work in Australia.

• Excellent crew resource management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a helicopter flight crew to perform safe operations as required by the operations manual.
• Maintain and repair role equipment for missions and arrange repairs when needed.
• Ensure aircraft readiness with proper configuration, cleanliness, and load/weighing for each mission.
• Complete pre-flight and post-flight documentation and inspections.
• Conduct briefing and passenger administration for missions.
• Assist in flight crew logistics when deployed.
• Provide accurate flight data and safety observations to the Pilot (clearances, movements, etc.).
• Operate the rescue hoist and associated role equipment as qualified.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are currently seeking, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Aircrew Officers to join our Bell 412 operations in New South Wales, Australia.

The right candidate will have the ability to work in a team environment conducting aerial firefighting and flood response, crew/equipment transport, reconnaissance, search and rescue, disaster mitigation and related operations in support of emergency services. They must have a strong focus on safety and customer service.

The role requires flexibility and working away from home base at short notice and offers competitive salary and an emphasis on work/ life balance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• ·Work as part of a team in a helicopter flight crew to ensure all operations are conducted in a safe and compliant manner as required by the company operations manual.
• ·To ensure role equipment is maintained and in good condition for each mission and facilitate appropriate repair or maintenance of this equipment when required.
• ·Ensure aircraft are in a state of readiness regarding cleanliness, role equipment and appropriately configured, weighed, and secure for each mission.
• ·Complete pre-flight and post-flight documentation and inspections.
• ·Conduct briefing and passenger administration as required for the mission.
• ·Assist in the logistics of flight crew when deployed.
• ·Provide accurate visual observation and information to the Pilot of flight relevant data including clearances, personnel movements and flight safety related issues.
• ·Operate rescue hoist and associated role equipment IAW Coulson Aviation Australia Operations Manual.
• ·Perform duties in the Front Left Seat (FLS) and using Night Vision Imaging Systems (NVIS) as qualified.
• ·Conduct other duties as allocated by the Senior Aircrew Officer or Chief Pilot.

Experience Requirements:
