Job summary

Guardian Eats Hill is seeking a Chef to plan seasonal, nutritious menus for children and contribute to their health and wellbeing during mealtimes. You will create meals that support growth, foster positive relationships around food, and work in a well-resourced kitchen alongside Educators and families.

The role emphasizes food safety, compliance, and inclusive mealtime experiences while offering competitive remuneration and access to childcare discounts and wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Supervisor or Food Handlers certificate required.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or working towards is desirable.
• Awareness of personal responsibilities under current Child Protection Laws.
• Current Working with Children’s Check or state equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop seasonal, nutritious menus for children with dietary and cultural needs.
• Contribute to children’s health, wellbeing and safe mealtime experiences.
• Build relationships with children, Educators, families and the Centre community.
• Maintain best-practice food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards.
