Job summary

Act for Kids Morayfield is seeking a full-time Child and Family Practitioner to support children and families affected by domestic and family violence. The role works with a Safe Families Team to coordinate services, deliver psychoeducational group programs, and collaborate with other professionals to achieve family goals.

You will bring a relevant degree, professional registration if required, and experience with trauma-informed practice to empower families and promote safety.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in allied health, social work or human services.
• Professional registration (if required).
• Membership in a professional association desirable.
• Safe and Together training desired.
• 3+ years with trauma-affected children/families or 5+ years in similar roles.
• Eligibility to work in Australia and required checks (WWCC).

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with professionals and agencies to achieve family goals.
• Coordinate group training programs within the Safe Families Program.
• Deliver psychoeducation group programs for families experiencing domestic and family violence.
