Job summary

UnitingCare Children, Young People and Families in Woodridge is seeking a dedicated Child and Family Practitioner for a permanent Full-Time role in the Family Relationship Centre. You will work with children, parents and families experiencing separation, providing education, assessment and child-inclusive services within FDR.

You will collaborate with FDR Practitioners and support services to achieve positive outcomes for children.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Experience with children, families and vulnerable individuals.
• Experience in assessment, screening, case management and family support.
• Current Queensland Driver Licence and Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide education, assessment, case management and child-inclusive services for families in Family Dispute Resolution (FDR).
• Collaborate with Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners and other support services to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
• Support clients through an education process as they prepare for FDR.
• Conduct assessments to determine client needs and suitability for Child Inclusive Practice.
• Maintain accurate and compliant case records in line with policy and timeframes.
• Support parents to focus on the best interests of their children.
