Job summary

Blacktown City Council's Kids' Early Learning Kings Park is seeking a Child Care Aide to create a safe, caring and engaging environment where children learn, develop and thrive. You will supervise children, prepare age appropriate activities and monitor health and wellbeing.

You will document children's progress, communicate with families and follow childcare regulations to ensure a high standard of care, while collaborating with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in childcare settings preferred.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during the day and support their wellbeing.
• Prepare and facilitate age-appropriate activities.
• Monitor health and wellbeing and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Observe and record children's development and keep health and safety records up to date.
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress and needs.
• Follow childcare regulations, policies and procedures to ensure high standards.
