Blacktown City Council is seeking a Child Care Assistant to support educators and help deliver learning and care programs. You will supervise children, prepare materials, and assist with planned activities while ensuring safety and well-being in a welcoming centre.

You will work with families to share daily updates, contribute ideas for activities, and help implement developmentally appropriate programs as part of a supportive team. Ongoing training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a learning environment is valued.
• Ability to observe and record child development notes.
• Strong communication with families and team members.

Responsabilités

• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities.
• Prepare learning materials and resources for sessions.
• Assist with planned learning experiences and daily routines.
