Blacktown City Council’s Kids' Early Learning Kings Park team seeks a Child Care Aide to support safe, engaging learning experiences for young children. You’ll supervise, help with activities, monitor wellbeing, and build trusting relationships with families and colleagues.

You will work in a stable, permanent, full-time role with competitive entitlements, including an entry-level salary and regular development opportunities in a supportive community setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children throughout the day ensuring safety and wellbeing.
• Prepare and facilitate age-appropriate activities to support development.
• Monitor health, wellbeing and hygiene; maintain records.
• Observe and record children's development and progress.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress.
• Respond to changing needs of children and follow policies and procedures.
