Job summary

Beilby Downing Teal is seeking a seasoned strategic leader to head the organisation's strategy, innovation and commercial agenda. Reporting to the CEO, you will shape the corporate strategy, identify growth opportunities and drive major strategic projects with executive and board collaboration.

The role requires a commercially minded executive with a track record in transformation, corporate development or growth initiatives, and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in strategy, corporate development, consulting, commercial leadership or transformation.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience developing and implementing business growth strategies.
• Highly developed stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the organisation's strategic plan.
• Drive enterprise-wide innovation, transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and assess new growth opportunities, partnerships and investments.
• Lead merger and acquisition assessments, business cases and due diligence activities.
• Enhance commercial performance through pricing, profitability and revenue optimisation initiatives.
• Establish and oversee strategic project governance and PMO disciplines.
• Drive digital, automation and AI-enabled business improvement programs.
• Conduct market analysis and provide strategic insights to support executive decision-making.
• Prepare strategic recommendations, reports and presentations for the CEO and Board.
• Build alignment across the business to ensure strategic priorities are successfully delivered.
