Chief Operating Manager — Luxury Accommodation, Sydney

Our client isn't your average property business. They manage hundreds of Sydney's most beautiful homes — across short stays, extended stays and long-term lets — for owners who trust them with something that really matters to them. They're growing fast, expanding into new service lines, and looking for someone brilliant to help run the show.

This is the "right hand" role. You'll report directly to the CEO and work closely with the Founder, leading a small team of function heads (and a lean, high-performing team split across local and offshore locations) across operations, guest experience, revenue, people and property.

Here's the honest bit: we know a job description will fall short of nailing the magic alchemy that we are seeking. On the technical front we want someone who can run a multi-site, service business with strong financial oversight, operational prowess and good tech savvy. But, layered on top of this we also want someone who can lead with humour, gravitas and warmth. Where you got your experience matters far less than its possession so we want to hear you to talk to it with candour and confidence.

You might come from: hospitality, facilities management, multi-site retail operations, or any other business where you've carried real P&L or operational accountability across multiple locations or teams. Property and short-term rental experience is a bonus, not a prerequisite and the business will back someone with the appetite and aptitude to close the gaps.
