Job summary

RATP Dev Western Sydney Airport seeks a Chief Controller to lead the Operations Control Centre, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport services in Australia. Responsibilities

• OCC Leadership & Command: Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the OCC, coordinating activities and providing clear direction to the wider operations team.
• Train Service Delivery: Oversee and coordinate train service delivery across the network, ensuring operational performance meets KPIs and standards.
• Incident & Emergency Management: Provide command and control during incidents and emergencies, liaising with emergency services.
• Team Leadership: Lead Traffic Controllers, Station Information Controllers and Fault Controllers, fostering a high-performing OCC environment.
• Track Access & Engineering Works: Manage track access through PTW and AC processes, including maintenance supervision.
• Test & Commissioning: Support testing and commissioning activities with the D&C contractor.
• Operational Performance: Monitor service performance and KPIs, identify improvement opportunities across OCC operations.
• Communication & Coordination: Coordinate communications between OCC, frontline teams, management and external stakeholders.
• Risk & Compliance: Participate in hazard/risk reviews and ensure appropriate controls are implemented.
