Job summary

Langford Aboriginal Association (LAA), based in Boorloo/Perth, seeks a senior leader to guide growth and scale across governance, operations and culture, reporting to the CEO and working with the Board. The role emphasises building capability, systems and community-connected practice to deliver impact over the next two years.

The successful candidate will oversee strategy, budgeting, risk and compliance, and foster a culturally competent workforce while strengthening partnerships with Aboriginal

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in governance, operations and strategy.
• Experience budgeting, reporting and governance oversight.
• Comfort with building capability and systems in growing organisations.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Governance across strategy implementation and organisational performance.
• Program & Service Delivery Management including advising on program risks, performance and expansion opportunities through funders and partners.
• Financial & Resource Management leading reporting, budgeting and governance.
• Human Resource & Workforce Development overseeing recruitment, training and retention of staff, ensuring a culturally competent workforce.
• Governance, Compliance, Risk & Quality Assurance across governance frameworks, policies and procedures.
• Community Engagement & Advocacy through strong, respectful relationships with Aboriginal communities, Elders, partners and government.
