Job summary

Langford Aboriginal Association (LAA) is seeking a senior leader to direct Programs & Community Services, ensuring community-led, culturally safe and compliant delivery across all programs. You will work with the COO/CEO to plan, supervise, and continuously improve services, safeguarding outcomes for Elders and community members.

The role requires strategic oversight, partnership development with funders and government bodies, and building workforce capability while maintaining strong governance

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in program management and leadership within community services, health, or social impact sectors.
• Experience leading multiple programs and multidisciplinary teams with accountability for performance, outcomes and risk.
• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership development with government and community organisations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across all programs.
• Ensure services are community-led, culturally safe, compliant and sustainable.
• Oversee program planning, delivery, workforce capability and partnerships.
• Lead governance, reporting, data sovereignty and program improvement.
• Develop policies to promote ethical, culturally safe service delivery.
