Job summary

Langford Aboriginal Association (LAA) is seeking a Policy, Projects & Strategic Lead to steer policy development, governance, and strategic initiatives in a culturally informed manner. You will drive major organisational projects, manage grants and submissions, and coordinate reporting to boards and government bodies.

Qualifications

• Equivalent demonstrated experience or tertiary qualification in Social Policy, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Public Policy/Business, Governance, Public Administration or Project Management.
• Strong strategic project management, policy and procedure development, governance and compliance.
• Grant and tender writing and government reporting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of policies, governance frameworks and documentation.
• Coordinate grant applications, tenders, Expressions of Interest and funding proposals.
• Prepare executive reports, Board papers, strategic plans and government submissions.
• Lead quality assurance, accreditation and continuous improvement programs.
• Monitor policy developments; advise Executive and Board.
• Provide executive support to CEO and COO.
