Job summary

DealHub Ltd is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for APAC to steer financial strategy, governance and value creation across the region. The role partners with APAC/PMO leadership and reports to the Group CFO, ensuring financial sustainability and decisive governance.

The CFO APAC will drive liquidity management, risk oversight, and system improvements (notably SAP), while leading finance teams and collaborating with sales, marketing and operations to enable scalable growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; CPA/CA preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance
  • Expertise in financial modelling, corporate finance, regulatory compliance
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional communication skills
  • MBA and construction machinery experience desirable

Responsibilities

  • Define financial and strategic goals with APAC and PMO leadership
  • Lead financial management: accounting, treasury, tax, budgeting, forecasting
  • Manage liquidity, cash flow and capital allocation; rolling cash flow model
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax obligations; internal controls
  • Mentor finance and payroll teams; collaborate with sales, marketing, operations
  • Present results to Group executives and boards; liaise with auditors

About the Company

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) APAC is a key member of the APAC and PMO leadership team, responsible for overseeing (alongside APAC's and PMO's CEO) the financial strategy, planning and management of the company. Being a sparring partner of APAC / PMO CEO, the CFO APAC keeps the independency from the financial & governance perspective and has a direct dotted reporting line to Group CFO. The CFO APAC ensures financial sustainability, maximises Group/shareholder value, and provides strategic insight to guide the organisation toward achieving its business objectives. This role requires a forward-thinking, results-driven leader with a deep understanding of financial operations, risk management and regulatory compliance.

About the Role
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with APAC and PMO executive teams to define financial and strategic goals, and lead the development and execution of long-term financial strategies
  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, treasury, tax, payroll, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and internal controls
  • Manage liquidity, cash flow and capital allocation; develop and maintain a rolling cash flow model
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, regulatory requirements and tax obligations; establish robust internal controls
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance, conduct trend analysis to identify risks and opportunities, and provide data-driven decision support
  • Optimise financial systems, tools and processes (with a strong emphasis on SAP) to drive operational efficiency and scalability
  • Oversee risk management, insurance and mitigation strategies to protect the organisation's interests
  • Lead, mentor and develop the finance and payroll teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and operations to ensure seamless business execution
  • Serve as the primary liaison for audits and external financial reporting; build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, auditors and external stakeholders
  • Present financial results, forecasts and strategies to Group executive boards and committees
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field (CPA/CA preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in finance with a strong track record in executive roles
  • Deep expertise in financial modelling, corporate finance, investment management, regulatory compliance and corporate governance
  • Exceptional leadership, team management and cross-level communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven and analytical mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make critical decisions under pressure
  • High level of integrity and commitment to ethical standards
  • MBA and experience in the construction machinery industry are desirable
