This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong technical expertise, effective communication and a commitment to operational excellence.

  • Ensure compliance with WHS, fire safety and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports and statutory documentation.
  • Oversee contractor safety, compliance and performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections, identify risks and implement appropriate corrective actions.
  • Prepare monthly maintenance reports and quarterly audit documentation.
Asset Management & Sustainability
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve energy efficiency, water conservation and environmental sustainability.

  • Support asset protection and long-term maintenance planning.
Project & Financial Management
  • Prepare capital expenditure (CAPEX) proposals and oversee approved projects.
  • Liaise with ownership representatives, external contractors and service providers.
  • Coordinate engineering projects to ensure quality, cost efficiency and minimal operational disruption.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and overall hotel performance.
Collaboration & Guest Experience
