Job summary

Our client, a vibrant higher education institution, seeks a strategic Head of Digital, AI & Platform Services to lead the strategy, development and evolution of enterprise platforms, digital products and AI-enabled solutions.

You will work across Technology, academic departments and professional services to shape the digital ecosystem, ensuring secure, reliable platforms aligned with institutional priorities and student experiences.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading digital platforms or AI-enabled services in large organisations.
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, platform architecture and systems integration.
• Experience delivering digital products from discovery to deployment.
• Knowledge of generative AI, automation, APIs and emerging digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Digital, AI & Platform Services and oversee enterprise applications, software development and digital products.
• Define platform and product priorities aligned with institutional objectives and user needs.
• Oversee security, reliability and performance of enterprise platforms and services.
• Lead software engineering and product development with modern practices.
• Drive AI, automation and intelligent workflows to create organisational value.
• Translate priorities into clear digital and tech initiatives across university.
• Manage relationships with vendors and partners to ensure value for money.
