Job summary
Adventist HealthCare Limited (AHCL) is seeking a seasoned procurement leader to drive strategic procurement and category management for Sydney Adventist Hospital’s clinical portfolio. You will partner with clinical leaders, run complex tenders, and push for standardisation, supplier performance, and cost improvements to ensure value and resilience.
The role requires leadership, governance awareness, and a focus on patient safety in a regulated healthcare environment.
Qualifications
- Strong strategic sourcing and category management experience.
- Proven ability in commercial negotiations.
- Healthcare or regulated industry experience.
- Understanding of clinical governance and patient safety in procurement.
- Experience managing clinical product supplier quality risks.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic procurement and category management across Sydney Adventist Hospital’s clinical portfolio.
- Partner with clinical leaders; lead sourcing initiatives, tenders and negotiations.
- Drive product standardisation, supplier performance, cost improvement and supply resilience.
- Lead clinical product evaluation and governance; balance patient safety, efficacy, and value in sourcing decisions.
- Lead and develop the procurement team; drive continuous improvement and act as advisor to senior leaders.
