Merivale in Sydney is seeking passionate commis, demi chefs and chef de parties for full-time or casual roles across its Asian venues, Mr Wong and Good Luck. You will join experienced culinary teams to deliver high-quality dishes with a focus on flavour, technique, consistency and presentation.

Applicants with experience in Cantonese, Chinese, Southeast Asian or broader Asian cuisines, and a genuine passion for Asian cooking, are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

The Venues

We're looking for passionate chefs to join two of Merivale's Asian restaurants in Sydney: Mr Wong and Good Luck.

Mr Wong is known for its Cantonese classics and dim sum, while Good Luck brings its own approach to Asian cuisine. Across both venues, you'll work with experienced culinary teams, develop your skills and help deliver food in busy restaurant kitchens.

Qualifications

The Role

We're looking for Commis Chefs, Demi Chefs and Chef de Parties to join our teams on a full-time or casual basis.

You'll work closely with senior chefs to deliver high-quality food with a strong focus on flavour, technique, consistency and presentation.

We're particularly interested in chefs with experience across Asian cuisines and cooking techniques, whether that's Cantonese, Chinese, Southeast Asian or broader Asian cuisine.

To be successful in this role, you will:
