Bread & Honey Catering Pty Ltd trading as Catering HQ Lynwood in Pitt Town, NSW, is hiring full-time chefs or cooks for a busy restaurant overlooking North-West Sydney's premier golfing facility. The role requires relevant industry qualifications and 1–2 years' experience, with a 38-hour work week and permanent position.

You will work 7 days, lunch and dinner, with opportunities for menu planning, cost control, staff rostering and training.

Qualifications

• Relevant industry qualification required.
• 1–2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Must have prep, cooking and plating skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS.
• Able to assist with menu planning and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate dishes to high standards.

FULL TIME 38 HOURS PER WEEK MINIMUM 4 WEEKS ANNUAL LEAVE SALARY PLUS SUPER

$79k PA - $85k PA Bread & Honey Catering Pty Ltd trading as CATERING HQ LYNWOOD is looking for a full-time Chefs or Cooks for their busy restaurant located in Pitt Town, New South Wales. Lynwood Country Club is the place locals choose any day or night of the week for relaxed dining with a quality menu.

We have indoor and outdoor dining overlooking North-West Sydney’s premier golfing facility and are open for lunch and dinner, 7 days a week. To be considered for the role you need to have a relevant industry qualification and at least 1-2 years' experience in a similar position.

Skills & Experience

• Must display excellent prep, cooking and plating skills
• Strong emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes
• Demonstrate a keen interest in growing food trends and techniques
• Ability to contribute to menu planning, food cost estimation and food cost control
• Work with the management team on food preparation and seasonal menu planning
• Stock ordering
• Labour cost control and assist the owners with rostering
• A sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS
• Immaculate presentation and grooming
• Ability to handle large service numbers
• Above average customer care and service skills
• Needs to be able to train our junior team on cooking techniques and procedures
• Assist with staff hiring and training
• Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
• Discuss customer requirements and request with the frost on house team YOU MUST BE
• Available nights, weekends and school holidays.
