Job summary

Cater Care is seeking a qualified Chef to join our aged care facility in The Basin, Victoria on a part-time basis. You will prepare nutritious meals for residents, support daily kitchen operations, and ensure high standards of food safety within a collaborative team.

The role offers consistent daytime hours with a Friday–Sunday roster and opportunities for career development, with on-site parking and uniform provision.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Chef role, with aged care experience essential.
• Ability to prepare meals in a care-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present fresh, nutritious meals for residents and staff.
• Assist with bulk meal preparation and daily kitchen operations.

Job Type: Part-time
Location: The Basin, Victoria
Roster: Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 9:30am - 5:30pm
Pay Rate: $32 base per hour + Weekend loading + Super

We are seeking a qualified Chef to join our aged care facility in The Basin on a part-time basis.

This is a hands-on role within a large, well-established residential aged care home comprising nine residential wings, supported by a collaborative kitchen team and a welcoming community of residents.

Working within a structured and supportive environment, you will play an important role in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals that contribute to the health, wellbeing and dining experience of our residents.

This position also provides opportunities for ongoing employment and career development within the organisation.
