Job summary

Respect/McLean Care's Residential Aged Care home in Inverell is seeking a Cleaning Services Assistant / Food Services Assistant to help residents feel comfortable and at home. You will perform cleaning and food service duties, supporting infection control and safety standards in a warm, resident-focused environment.

Applicants should be reliable, punctual and flexible, with good communication and the ability to work weekends or varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential aged care, cleaning, hospitality or food services.
• Ability to follow infection control and food safety procedures.
• Willingness to work weekends and varying shifts.
• Comfortable working independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms and shared spaces.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and food handling practices.
• Prepare, serve and present meals and refreshments.
