Responsibilities

• Planning and developing menus in consultation with management.
• Preparing, cooking and presenting a range of dishes to a high standard.
• Supervising food preparation and ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
• Monitoring food quality at all stages of preparation and service.
• Managing stock levels and ordering food supplies as required.
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.
• Training and supervising kitchen staff where required.
• Assisting with cost control and minimising food wastage.
