Job summary

Monarto Safari Resort & Safari Lodge, part of Journey Beyond, is seeking Chef de Parties, Commis Chefs and Kitchen Hands to join our culinary team. You will be responsible for high quality preparation and presentation across breakfast, lunch and dinner services.

Successful candidates will have Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, a passion for guest experience, and strong food safety standards. Availability for early mornings, weekends and public holidays is required.

About the Role

We are seeking Chef de Parties, Commis Chefs and Kitchen Hands to join us at Monarto Safari Resort & Safari Lodge. You would be responsible for the high quality preparation and presentation of our culinary offerings across breakfast, lunch and dinner service.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of unique menus, ensuring high quality and guest satisfaction;
• Maintaining levels of stock and inventory;
• Hygiene, cleanliness and general safety of all staff working in food preparation areas; and
• Compliance with HACCP

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery with industry experience in fast paced culinary environment (for chef positions)
