Job summary

Pavoni Plus Pty Ltd is seeking a passionate Chef de Partie to join the opening teams across a’Mare, Pizza’Mare and Vista’Mare at Crown Sydney, Barangaroo, delivering exceptional Italian cuisine in premium dining concepts.

This role offers casual or full-time opportunities, a salary range of $79,000–$85,000 per year plus super, and a pathway to continued career development within one of Sydney's leading hospitality groups.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Hospitality Management or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant full-time experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent.
• Experience preparing and cooking Italian cuisine.
• Experience within premium dining or high-volume hospitality venues.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Ability to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain your designated kitchen section during service.
• Prepare and present dishes to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
• Support breakfast, lunch, and dinner services across the precinct.
• Prepare and cook a range of Italian dishes, including pasta, pizza, and à la carte items.
• Work collaboratively with Head Chefs and Sous Chefs to execute menus and maintain service standards.
• Contribute to menu development, recipe preparation, and menu implementation.
• Assist with menu costings and food cost management.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and wastage.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements.
