Maestro Hospitality’s a’Mare precinct in Crown Sydney seeks an experienced Sous Chef to join the leadership team, overseeing the kitchen operations across a’Mare, Pizza’Mare and Vista’Mare. This is a hands-on, high-volume role requiring strong leadership, pride in quality, and a commitment to Italian hospitality.

You will work with Executive Chef and Head Chef, mentor the brigade, lead service, production and plating, and maintain safety, costs and efficiencies across a seven-day roster.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a kitchen leadership or management position.
• Strong experience with Italian cuisine.
• Formal commercial cookery qualifications.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsabilités

• Lead kitchen brigade with Executive Chef and Head Chef.
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, plating and presentation.
• Coordinate production across a’Mare, Pizza’Mare and Vista’Mare.
• Assist with ordering, inventory management and stock control.
• Train, coach and mentor junior and senior staff.
