The role requires a background as a Demi Chef or Chef de Partie, HACCP knowledge, and a dedicated approach to coaching junior staff.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a professional kitchen as a Demi Chef or Chef de Partie.
• Certification in commercial cookery; preferred certificate in safe food handling/food safety supervision.
• Strong organizational skills for preparation, planning and cost control.
• Flexibility to work across weekend and public holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage your kitchen section efficiently to ensure smooth service flow.
• Take charge at the pass when required and monitor food and labour costs.
• Maintain high-quality, well-presented dishes aligned with guidelines and timelines.
• Provide guidance and training to junior kitchen staff.
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe and organized with emphasis on food safety standards.
