Job summary

Lancemore Lindenderry Hotel in Red Hill, Victoria, is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team under Executive Chef Paul Wilson. You will contribute to delivering exceptional, story-worthy meals that showcase local produce and refined technique.

Qualifications

• Extensive CDP experience with Commercial Cookery qualification.
• Experience in hotel or banquet kitchen.
• Strong presentation and creative cooking.
• Ability to lead a team in absence of Executive Chef.
• Understanding of Australian food safety and HACCP.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster.
• Well-presented, punctual and reliable.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage workflow.
• Passion for quality ingredients and consistent results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes as part of the Dining Room relaunch.
• Assist Executive Chef and lead kitchen station during busy periods.
• Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are maintained.
• Maintain clean, organized workstation and efficient workflow.
• Collaborate with team to create visually appealing presentations.

We are currently seeking a Chef de Partie, to join Executive Chef Paul Wilson and his talented team. You will be instrumental in the delivery of food that becomes a story told often by guests of the multi award winning Lindenderry Hotel.

About You:

• Extensive experience working as a CDP with relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery
• Relevant experience in a restaurant/banquet kitchen or in a hotel setting
• Enthusiasm and creative approach to providing high-quality cuisine and excellent presentation skills
• Ability to lead a team and support the Executive Chef in his absence
• Demonstrated understanding of Australian food safety and HACCP
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays as required within a rotating roster
• Well presented, punctual and reliable who takes pride in their work
• Ability to keep your section clean in the Kitchen and is highly organised with a good understanding of workflow and structure
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
• A passion for quality food and produce
