Job summary

Elements of Byron Resort & Spa is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team across Azure Bar and Grill, SummerSalt food truck, and Breeze Café. This full-time role (38 hours weekly) offers roster certainty two weeks in advance, and a dynamic, beachside work setting.

Ideal applicants will bring restaurant or high-volume experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to food safety. Permanent residency in Australia is required, with staff discounts and on-site parking

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, café or high-volume catering environment.
Full availability, including weekends and public holidays.
Commitment to a full-time position (38 hours per week).
Ability to work efficiently during busy periods with a sense of urgency.
Willingness to learn and develop new techniques; follow recipes and manage time.
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work; comprehensive understanding of food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Work across Azure Bar and Grill, SummerSalt food truck and Breeze Café across a variety of outlets.
Base at the signature restaurant and contribute to seasonal menus using local ingredients.
Follow recipes, manage time and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
Support a creative, collaborative culinary team and participate in ongoing training.
