Job summary

Elements of Byron is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to join our kitchen team on a casual basis, up to 30 hours per week, with afternoon and evening shifts. The role focuses on washing dishes, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting basic kitchen tasks in a luxury coastal resort.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, following food safety guidelines, and enjoy staff discounts, training, and a supportive team. Minimum commitment of 4 months and valid working rights in Australia are required.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with a high standard of cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Keeping kitchen and wash-up areas clean, organised, and safe.
• Assisting with basic kitchen duties as required.
• Following food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Handling cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, following guidelines.
• Collecting and disposing of rubbish from kitchen areas during and after each shift.
