Job summary

Novotel Surfers Paradise is seeking a talented Part-Time Demi Chef to join our dynamic Kitchen brigade, delivering high-quality dishes and supporting the Chef de Partie.

You will work on a rotating roster including weekends, maintain safety standards, contribute ideas to menu development, and help create memorable dining experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Demi Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or high-volume kitchen environment.
• Relevant culinary qualifications.
• Experience in conference, events, banquets and a high-volume buffet breakfast operation highly desired.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
• A passion for food, creativity, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
