Job summary

Coast Entertainment on the Gold Coast invites applications for Casual Chef and Chef de Partie roles at SkyPoint Bistro+Bar on Surfers Paradise. Qualified chefs will work across breakfast and all-day dining, collaborating with Kitchen and F&B teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Candidates should have HACCP knowledge, a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent, and the flexibility to work varied shifts in a high-volume kitchen.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to prepare and present quality food under pressure.
• Good working knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
• Positive, reliable and self-motivated approach.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Kitchen and F&B teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ensure HACCP, food safety requirements and company policies are followed.
• Support day-to-day operation of a busy, high-volume kitchen.
• Assist with portion control, wastage, stock management and ordering.
• For Chef de Partie: support Executive Chef and senior kitchen team and coach junior staff.
