Job summary

SkyPoint Bistro+Bar on the Gold Coast is seeking a skilled Chef or CDP for casual, on-site work on the 77th floor of the Q1 building. You will prepare varied menu items for à la carte, café, and events, while collaborating with Kitchen and F&B teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates have a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and experience in high-volume, busy environments, with HACCP knowledge and strong teamwork. Flexibility with shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in à la carte, café-style and functions environments.
• Proven ability to work in high-volume operations.
• Solid HACCP and food safety understanding.
• Collaborative mindset and reliable, self-motivated approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present diverse, high-quality menu items across à la carte, café and event operations.
• Collaborate with Kitchen and F&B teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ensure HACCP compliance and follow company policies and procedures.
• Support day-to-day operation of a busy, high-volume kitchen and assist with ordering.
• Assist with portion control, wastage, stock management and ordering.
