Job summary

Nellie Melba Retirement Village in Wheelers Hill is seeking an experienced Chef for a casual position with a base hourly rate of $31.77–$32.77 plus 25% casual loading. Shifts include various Monday–Friday daytime windows.

You will help deliver diverse and high-quality dining experiences for residents, with opportunities to contribute to the Ryman Delicious program. Applicants should hold a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Diploma in Hospitality Management (or international equivalent) and

About The Role

Calling all Chefs! We will challenge any ideas you have on Retirement Village cuisine, we offer more choices and more variety in our all-new approach to food and fine dining called Ryman Delicious! We are developing menus with more complexity and we are investing in redesigning our kitchens and putting in extra resources to make it work.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chef at Nellie Melba Retirement Village in Wheelers Hill. This is a Casual position working at a base hourly rate of $31.77 to $32.77 (plus 25% casual loading) with potential shifts across the following days and hours:

Monday to Friday 08:00 am to 04:00 pm / 09:30 am to 05:30 pm / 10:30 am to 06:00 pm / 12:00 noon to 07:30 pm

In this role you will:

• Prepare specialty food for fine dining evenings and village functions
