Job summary

Ryman Healthcare in Melbourne is seeking a Kitchen Hand for Nellie Melba Retirement Village in Wheelers Hill. This casual role runs 11:30–18:30, Monday to Sunday, at a base hourly rate of $29.14 to $29.69, plus 25% casual loading. You will work under the Chef and team, washing dishes and supporting kitchen operations.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team as a Kitchen Assistant at Nellie Melba Retirement Villagein Wheelers Hill. This is a casual position working Monday to Sunday 1130-1830 at a base hourly rate of $29.14 to $29.69, plus 25% casual loading.

In this role, you will work under the direction of our Chef alongside our team of Cooks Assistants, Baker, and other kitchen staff. Your primary responsibility will be washing dishes and ensuring all kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery, and utensils are cleaned to a high standard. You will also help maintain the overall cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen.

As a Kitchen Hand washing dishes, this is a great opportunity to work in one of our largest retirement villages in Victoria! You'll be our go-to, making our dishes bright and sparkly!
