Job summary

Newcastle Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Chef to join our catering team on a casual basis. You will prepare and cook meals to a high standard, follow infection control standards and WHS policies, and deliver excellent service to staff, clients and patients.

A recognised chef qualification, strong communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team are required.

• Previous experience in a Hospital or Aged Care environment highly advantageous but not essential

We are a 189 bed, acute, private hospital facility co-located on the John Hunter Campus at Rankin Park. The hospital has 11 theatres including a hybrid theatre and a 15 bed Intensive Care Unit.

A private maternity suite including6 birthing suites and a special care baby nursery isavailable for families in the Newcastle region.Newcastle Private Oncology Centre provides specialty care for individuals and their families/carers undergoing all aspects of cancer treatment and care with both an inpatient unit and day infusion lounge.
