• Day to day running of the kitchen including pasta preparation and cooking of Sugo, Bolognese, and other dishes.
• Development of menus and specials.
• Dealing with suppliers, quality and cost of goods.
• Quality and temperature control of all food entering and leaving the premises.
• Enforcing and controlling food safety and FIFO practices.
• Assisting with selection and training of staff and coordinating with management on food display and presentation.

We are looking for a talented Chef; great salary in a friendly kitchen environment.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• Ability to prep and cook food of an Italian cuisine, primarily pasta and dealing with pans
• At least one year of full-time experience in a close related role
• Working independently to the highest standards

Duties will include:

• Day to day running of the kitchen which will include
• Preparation of Pasta, Cooking of Sugo, Bolognese and dealing of all staff relevant within secondary kitchen and front of house dealings regarding food preparation.
• Development of menus and relevant specials
• Dealing with suppliers, quality and cost of goods
• Quality and temperature control of all food entering and leaving the premises
• Ensure preparation and presentation of mealsCooking pasta according to menu and preparing desserts and Salads
• Enforcing and controlling food safety
• Dealing with temperatures and FIFO (this includes freezing and preserving foods)
• Assisting with selection and training staff
• Assisting and working with Management with food display and presentation.

Pay: From $79,500.00 per year
