Istanbul Chargrill & Kebab Palace Pty Ltd – Brisbane QLD is seeking a skilled Cook for a full-time position in North Lakes. The role involves preparing and grilling chargrilled meats and kebabs, ensuring quality and adherence to food safety standards, and working as part of a busy kitchen team.

The successful candidate will have AQF Certificate IV or equivalent education, at least 1 year in a commercial kitchen, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Formación

• AQF Certificate IV or 1 year of relevant education.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen management standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Examine food stuffs to ensure quality, freshness and compliance with food safety standards.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, chargrills and other cooking equipment.
• Prepare, season and cook a range of food items including chargrilled meats and kebabs.
• Season food during cooking to achieve authentic flavour profiles.
• Portion food, place on plates, and add gravies, sauces and garnishes as required.
• Store food in temperature-controlled facilities in accordance with health regulations.
