Job summary

CACGEL is seeking a Change Manager to lead ICT-enabled change projects and ensure people-facing activities align with technical delivery. You will plan communications, build change networks and support a continuous capability in organisational change management across the agency.

The role covers both ongoing ICT project work and multi-year programs, tailoring change effort to scale and impact while enabling adoption and sustainability for staff across sites.

Qualifications

• University qualification in Change Management, Communications, Business, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Ability to obtain Accreditation in Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy.
• Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration and Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to commencement.
• Current Drivers Licence.

• Establish and support change networks, including local champions, superusers and working group representatives.

About the Role

The Change Manager is responsible for the planning and delivery of organisational change management activity supporting ICT-enabled change across the organisation. The role applies a structured change methodology to ensure that the people-facing dimensions of change are planned and delivered in step with technical implementation, so that new systems, platforms and processes are understood, adopted and sustained. The role supports both the ongoing pipeline of business-as-usual ICT projects and larger multi-year programs of work, tailoring the depth of change effort to the scale and impact of each initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, write and coordinate change communications, including announcements, briefing packs, frequently asked questions and leadership talking points.
• Establish and support change networks, including local champions, superusers and working group representatives, and maintain a two-way flow of information between project teams and sites.
• Contribute to the development of an enduring organisational change management capability, including methodology, templates, practice standards and the development of change skills in others.
